Grandparents Tea party

We love to have any excuse to hold a tea party and this felt like the perfect occasion – Grandparents Day!

We invited our resident’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to join us for afternoon tea. We welcomed everyone in at three o’clock to tables set up with delicious treats. It was amazing to see so many residents and their families sitting enjoying cups or tea, cakes, scones and treats with their loved ones. The conversations were in full flow and the highlight for us as staff, was hearing stories of fond memories shared between the families during the years. We had so many laughs and saw so many lovely photos and now these memories can be shared in years to come and the photos added to those albums. Thank you to everyone that joined us we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
