Happy Birthday, Margery!

There was a buzz of excitement at Amberwood today as beloved resident Margery celebrated her remarkable 103rd birthday, and what a celebration it was!

From the moment the day began, Margery made it clear that 6th July is “a very important day,” reminding everyone with a smile and a wink. In the afternoon, staff and residents gathered for a special presentation: a towering birthday cake, delivered with a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

When asked by team member Ann Marie if she’d like some traditional birthday bumps, Margery shot back with a cheeky grin: “On your nelly!” sparking laughter all around.

Margery has now celebrated her 100th, 101st, 102nd, and 103rd birthdays with us – and she is a resident we all love dearly. Her warmth, humour, and spirit are cherished by everyone at Amberwood House.

The day was filled with laughter, cake, and cherished memories, and Margery was all smiles as she soaked up the attention. A truly unforgettable celebration for a truly unforgettable woman.
