Happy Birthday, Marigold!

Today marks Marigold’s 1st Birthday and she has become a big part of the Amberwood House family. 

Her great grandfather, Don, was a special resident here at Amberwood. And given how popular she has become in the home, it was only right we threw a 1st birthday party for her. 

We put on party hats, gave gifts, sang happy birthday, and enjoyed some piece of cake. 

Don had a love of the garden and spent many a day outside with gardener, Lyn. They spoke about planting roses once the garden renovations were complete. So, today was the perfect opportunity for Marigold to help plant the bush in honour of Ron. 

We all braved the weather so Marigold could add the soil (with Mum’s help!). It was an incredibly special moment for both the family, residents, and staff, and one we will cherish for years to come.
