Ice Cream Van

We booked our favourite ice cream van, Mikey’s Ice Cream, for a belated World Ice Cream Day celebration, and it was well worth the wait!

Mikey’s Ice Cream turned up with their van, delighting both residents and staff with a wide variety of frozen treats. There was plenty of joy (and sprinkles!) to go around, with many residents indulging in classic cones, ice lollies, and sundaes.

A particular favourite was the good old 99 with a flake — sparking fond memories among residents. Quite a few remarked they couldn’t remember the last time they had one, even if it does cost a bit more than 99p these days!

It was a simple pleasure that brought smiles all around — a perfect way to celebrate summer.
