Movement and Music with Biodanza

Residents enjoyed a lively Biodanza session with Malcolm, combining music, movement, and rhythm in the lounge.

There was no “right” way to move — some residents swayed gently, while others joined in full dance, with everyone encouraged to move in their own style.

A basket of instruments added to the fun, with residents shaking maracas, jingling tambourines, and tapping drumsticks along to the beat, creating a layered and engaging rhythm together. Residents also had the chance to act as conductor, guiding the group through changes in tempo and volume, which was met with laughter and pride.

By the end of the session, residents were energised, smiling, and connected, having enjoyed a creative and interactive afternoon together.
