Our First Cook’s Club of February

February is a very exciting month!

We have National Pizza Day and Valentine’s Day to celebrate! We start the month by baking ‘Amaretto Biscuits’, which are Italian biscuits. Did you know the Italian word ‘amaro’ which means bitter, refers to bitter almonds.  Our amaretto biscuits we made extra special, as we gave them a raspberry in the centre. All went well, even though we all got very sticky from the gooey ingredients, luckily we were prepared gloves and aprons were worn!
