Sweet Like Chocolate

The plan for today was to make some delicious chocolate bars for our upcoming event.

The bars will be one of the items for sale at our very own Dog Show, which aims to raise funds for and donate to High Mead Farm. Margery and Katie started by filling a pan with hot water and then placed a bowl of chocolate on top until it melted. “We stirred the chocolate until our arms fell off!” exclaimed Margery. Next, we sprinkled Biscoff crumbs at the bottom of the biscuit moulds.

The following steps involved lining the bottom of the mould with chocolate, adding a layer of Biscoff crumb, then Biscoff sauce, and more chocolate until the moulds were full. We then left them in the fridge to set. While they were setting, Margery helped with the clean-up—by which I mean licking the spoons clean! Just like when we were kids!
