The Inside Scoop

To celebrate National Ice Cream Day, we organised for Sharon in her Ice Cream Truck to stop by at 2pm so we could all indulge in an ice cream or two.

As 2pm approached we heard the tune, and all our childhood memories came rushing back of the joy and excitement of many summers’ past. A long queue had formed but Margery at 102 years of age was at the front for her Mr Whippy, she shared her favourite memories of her cycle rides to the seaside with her husband where they enjoyed many an ice cream by the water.  Her smile said it all.

A few hours past as we enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine, chatting with friends and family and sharing memories of times gone by. Thank you to Sharon for visiting us and we look forward to seeing you next year.
