Trevor’s Wish…

Resident Trevor had volunteered at Sailability for over 10 years and loved every minute of it.

Their aim is to enable people with disabilities to enjoy the exciting sport of sailing. Trevor talks highly of his time there and how much being on the water was good for everyone.

Recently Trevor has found it more challenging to get out on the water and has expressed how much he misses it.

We took the opportunity to book a boat trip with Friends of The Dolphin from Poole to explore the harbour and Brownsea island. The boat is specially designed to allow wheelchair users to comfortably experience sailing.

Trevor looked relaxed whilst out at sea and he told stories of the islands and his time at Sailability.
