Avon Cliff Raises £1,255 for Charity

Over the past year, Avon Cliff Care Home has raised a total of £1,255.37 for its chosen charity, Wessex Cancer Support.

Fundraising activities included raffles, summer and Christmas events, and a Christmas jumper day, all supported by residents, staff, and families.

The cheque was presented this week to Amanda and Hannah from Wessex Cancer Support, who shared details about the charity’s recently opened centre in Bournemouth town centre and the range of initiatives undertaken this year.

Residents and staff were excited to learn about the projects their fundraising will support and are planning a visit to the new centre in the near future.

The fundraising highlights Avon Cliff’s ongoing commitment to community causes and the engagement of its residents in meaningful charitable activity.
