Handmade Bookmarks

Residents made beautiful handmade bookmarks for loved ones this week.

We dried some fresh flowers a little while ago during our weekly flower arranging session and they were finally fully dry this week. So, residents decided to make them into bookmarks to give as gifts to loved ones.

We used cellophane templates to arrange the flowers and then sealed them together – creating the illusion of the flowers being inside a vase. We then finished them off with a colourful tassel.

We’re looking forward to giving them to our friends and families!
