A Festive Start to the Season

Every year, our lounge and café are transformed into a bustling Christmas market, and this year was no exception.

Residents and visitors enjoyed browsing stalls offering homemade cakes, handmade jewellery, mince pies, and mulled wine fresh from our kitchen. Live entertainment from Tyler James added to the festive atmosphere, while our charity raffle brought plenty of excitement.

The top prize, an air fryer, was won by Dotty’s visitor Kate, who was delighted, saying, “I have been meaning to get myself an air fryer, this is great.” Derek had a fantastic time calling the raffle numbers and handing over the prize. Altogether, the market raised over £400 for Wessex Cancer Support — a wonderful way to kick off the festive season.
