A Taste of Curiosity: “What’s the Flavour?”

One of our most loved activities, What’s the Flavour?, returned this month with a playful new twist — a blind tasting of jellies.

Residents sampled seven different flavours, ranging from the familiar — raspberry, orange and strawberry — to more intriguing options like cherry Bakewell and mango and passionfruit. What began as a light-hearted challenge soon became trickier than expected, as similar colours and subtle flavour notes made it surprisingly difficult to distinguish between some favourites. (Raspberry or strawberry? Not as easy as you might think!)

There was laughter and lively conversation aplenty as residents debated their guesses and discovered new favourites. It was a delightful sensory experience, full of surprises — and we’re already wondering what we’ll be tasting next.
