Bourne Free

It was a very exciting day for all of us.

One of our residents Patrick had a wish to be part of the pride parade. Patrick had attended Bourne Free in the past as an audience member but had always loved the idea of being on the parade. This year his dream finally came true. We joined the parade alongside the Colten Care minibus and walked from the East Cliff to Meyrick Park all dressed up in rainbow accessories. Patrick was very grateful to have all of his friends, residents, and staff with him supporting him and enjoying this special moment in his life. Everyone had an amazing time, dancing to classic songs and singing and waving to the crowd.

We are already planning to be part of this parade again next year.
