Channukah Celebrations

Faith is very important to some of our residents, especially at this time of year.

Roy is of the Jewish faith, and it was time to celebrate the Festival of Channukah.

Lasting a period of eight days from Christmas Day, this involved Roy saying a traditional prayer, reading from the Torah whilst wearing a Kippur, then lighting a candle for each of the eight days, and taking a drink of wine in celebration of the event.

Making this happen and seeing him in such a familiar and happy place was our pleasure.
