Cooking Club

Today, our wonderful residents whipped up quite the culinary delight in cookery club, making a batch of cherry Bakewell’s!

Heidi and Julia took the lead mixing the ingredients. While they were busy with the batter, Diana rolled out the pastry.

Once the cases were prepared, Heidi and Julia teamed up once more, carefully spreading the luscious cherry jam into each case. Meanwhile, Dotty took on the essential task of filling the pastry cases with the rich almond mixture and finishing them off with a cherry.

The best bit was of course the tasting, and yes, they were delicious! Well done everyone!
