Football Fashion Frenzy

To mark the start of this year’s World Cup, Avon Cliff’s fashion house reopened for a special football-themed creative session. Residents each chose a country with a personal connection to them, including Canada, Italy and England, before discussing the places, symbols and traditions they associate with each one.
Ideas ranged from fish and chips and the maple leaf to the Vatican, providing plenty of inspiration for the designs that followed. With shirts laid out and materials at the ready, residents set about creating their own football kits, adding colours, patterns and details that reflected their chosen country. By the end of the session, a colourful collection of unique designs had taken shape, each with its own story behind it.
