It’s Panto Time!

Everyone loves a pantomime at Christmas, but it’s just that extra bit special when someone you know is in the cast!

Ann’s grandson, Jamie, holds the title of Dorset’s number 1 dame and portrayed Nurse Daisy Doolittle in Weymouth Pavilion’s production of Snow White and The Seven Dwarves this year.

Jamie has been delighting audiences with pantomimes for years, and Ann, unfortunately, couldn’t attend previous shows due to the distance.

However, with the production being local this year, Ann’s dream of seeing Jamie in action finally came true.

We took a trip down to Weymouth on the mini-bus and secured front-row seats to watch the show.

We heckled, laughed, sang along, and even received a shoutout at the end of the performance.

After the show, Jamie came out to meet us and took pictures with Ann.

Jamie was over the moon that his Nanny had finally been able to see him perform, and Ann was equally pleased, expressing that she never thought she would have the opportunity to see him and was just overwhelmed with happiness.

A great time was had by all.
