Michael Takes to The Stage

In honour of National Poetry Day last week, we asked some residents to have a go at composing an original piece of work. 

With the help of his family, resident Michael created a piece entitled, ‘An Ode to Michael.’  

Michael recited the poem to our group this week, when the composition was finished and ready to go.  He really enjoyed doing this for everyone, and his previous knowledge of amateur dramatics meant it went down very well indeed!

We are looking forward to hearing his next performance for National Opera Day already and are reliably informed that his interpretation of Gilbert and Sullivan is very impressive.
