Rosh Hashana
Resident Roy requested we all get together and celebrate the Jewish New Year.
Roy wore his traditional dress and read a passage to the group from the Torah. We all shared apples dipped in honey, which is customary on Jewish New Year and signifies a sweet year ahead.
We also enjoyed challah bread and red wine as we listened to traditional music and shared blessings for the year ahead. We would like to take this opportunity to wish a happy Rosh Hashana to everyone that celebrates!
