Avon Reach Easter Event Brings Community Together

Avon Reach hosted a special Good Friday Easter event, welcoming residents, relatives, respite guests and children for an afternoon centred on creativity, connection and community spirit.

The celebration featured a wide range of Easter-themed activities designed to bring all generations together. Guests took part in painting Easter eggs, colouring activities, and decorating cakes and biscuits, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere throughout the home.

The room was filled with conversation and laughter as residents and visitors shared time and creativity, with each activity encouraging participation across age groups.

A highlight of the afternoon was a visit from the Easter Bunny, who helped add to the festive atmosphere and assisted with the home’s Easter raffle. The event also raised over £200 for Avon Reach’s chosen charity of the year, supporting the rebuild of All Saints Church in Mudeford.

Companion Team Leader Denise said: “It was a lovely afternoon seeing everyone come together across generations. The energy in the room, the creativity, and the support for our charity made it a very special celebration.”

The event reflected Avon Reach’s ongoing commitment to community connection and intergenerational engagement, creating shared experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways.
