A visit to Christchurch Priory
This morning, our bus trip took us to visit Christchurch Priory.
Our group of residents looked around the church and then relaxed, seated in front of the main altar, taking a few minutes for prayer. We then proceeded to the small chapel for the 11 o’clock service led by Reverend Richard Partridge. He began by greeting the residents from Avon Reach, and everyone agreed it was a lovely service, with a warm congregation creating a friendly atmosphere.
After the service, the residents enjoyed tea, coffee, and Victoria sponge in the church café. Reverend Richard joined us at the café and kindly posed for photos with the group. On their return, the residents said it was a very fulfilling morning and hoped to visit the Priory again soon.
