Avon Reach’s Christmas Cake

Festive preparations are underway at Avon Reach! 

This week, it was time to create our Christmas cake. 

The cake mix was handed around to each resident to give it a good stir and make their Christmas wish. Our chef then carefully placed it in the oven to bake and it came out perfectly! 

Once the cake was ready, we covered it in marzipan and icing – next up, we have the decorating to do.  

Our cake will be entered into our Christmas Fayre to raise money for Christchurch Foodbank+, with a game of guess the weight.
