Bus Trip to Black Water Dorset

On a beautiful sunny Wednesday morning three residents set off for our day trip to Black Water in the New Forest. 

It’s a twenty-minute drive from Avon Reach with eye catching views along the way, especially as you get nearer to the New Forest.  On arrival we found a nice spot with a cluster of trees in a shaded area. The sun shone through so hats and sun cream were applied.

Everyone sat on comfortable chairs and a table held a delicious picnic provided by the kitchen including refreshments.  Everyone relaxed in the nature of the countryside.  Horses roamed around, children played, families gathered, the weather was perfect.  We chatted and played a few word games and just let the world pass us by.
