Carpet bowls gets the Gentlemen’s Club off to a rolling start

At Avon Reach, we’ve heard from our residents that they would appreciate more opportunities to meet and engage in activities with smaller groups of people.

To meet this need, we’re collaborating to establish clubs that align with their interests and experiences. Historically, working men’s clubs have provided an avenue to share a drink, reflect on life, and participate in some of the classic “pub games” that remain popular today.

Ron and Tony recently played carpet bowls together, and we discussed potential activities for the future, such as pub quiz evenings, beer and skittles, watching movies, viewing televised sporting events, playing table top games, and engaging in engineering challenges. We’re confident that our Gentlemen’s Club will continue to flourish!
