Flower Pressing

Three weeks ago, our residents picked flowers from our garden to press.

Residents had shared that it was something a few of them did as children they remembered how they used to use big books to press them.

Today, we opened the flower presses to see how well they had dried and if they were ready to be used in some displays around our lounge.

The residents were all very impressed by how well the colour had remained, especially the purple ones. They were all incredibly happy with the results and said they can’t wait to do it again soon.
