Fresh Fruit Skewers

Residents at Avon Reach spent time together preparing fresh fruit skewers, with bowls of watermelon, pineapple and other favourites laid out ready to assemble.

There was a steady rhythm to the afternoon as residents helped cut the fruit and chose the combinations they wanted on each skewer. Conversation and laughter continued around the table as the colourful pieces were threaded into place. To finish, each resident added a favourite chocolate treat.

Once complete, the skewers were enjoyed together.
