Hot Chocolate Day at Avon Reach

Residents at Avon Reach marked Hot Chocolate Day with a relaxed and engaging programme of activities.

The morning began with a chocolate quiz and a look at images of chocolate bars from the 1950s through to today, which prompted lively discussion and plenty of reminiscence about childhood favourites.

In the afternoon, residents worked in small groups to create their own chocolate brand and design a wrapper, while enjoying cups of hot chocolate topped with flakes and marshmallows. Each group shared their ideas and designs with the rest of the room, which was met with interest and smiles.

The day combined conversation, creativity, and a well-loved winter treat, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.
