Noelia Teaches Spanish

Our Housekeeping Supervisor Noelia holds Spanish lessons for our residents every week.

On starting her role as a Housekeeper, Noelia chatted with residents and they were interested to know where her accent was from. When she told them she was from Spain they expressed their enthusiasm to learn Spanish. Residents could speak a few words, and some had visited Spain over the previous years. Noelia was able to work around her hours and start her Spanish lessons last March 2023.

The group are now learning and reading Spanish text. They are learning even more new words and putting complex sentences together. She provides an enjoyable atmosphere where learning takes place.

It is a big well done to our residents and Tutor Noelia for all their hard work.
