Trip to the Littledown Centre

We set off for a day trip to the Littledown Centre in Bournemouth this morning.

Residents gazed over the two pools below from the café and as we watched the people swimming, two of our residents reminisced about the days they spent swimming there and teaching their children to swim.

After refreshments, one of the Centre’s team members, Lisa, showed us to a comfy, quiet area. She presented an interesting talk with facts and insights about the history of the building. Afterwards, we moved out onto the patio for a picnic prepared by our chef at Avon Reach.

After lunch, we toom a ride to Burton-On-Sea for a view of the seaside and an ice cream. And to finish the day off, we drove home via Mudeford Quay.
