Choir Performance Hits the Right Note at Belmore Lodge Welcome Tea

Belmore Lodge in Lymington was brought to life with music as residents gathered for a special “Getting to Know You” event – led by a lively performance from local choir Total Voice.
The event also included an afternoon tea and was designed to help new arrivals settle in and encourage connections across the home.
The event began with a lively performance from the choir, who are well-loved from previous visits to the home. They returned with a set of singalong favourites that had residents and team members tapping their feet, singing along, and even sharing a spontaneous dance or two. Their performance set the tone for a relaxed and joyful afternoon aimed at helping new residents feel at home.
“It was the perfect way to bring everyone together,” said Companion Sharon. “Music is a powerful way to create connection, and Total Voice never fails to lift our spirits.”
Following the music, residents gathered for a traditional afternoon tea prepared by the home’s chefs, complete with freshly made treats and a glass of Pimms to toast the occasion.
“It was a lovely way for our residents to relax, catch up and meet some of the newer members of our community,” Sharon added.
“Moments like these really help to build the friendships and warmth that make Belmore Lodge feel like home.”
The team hope to host similar gatherings throughout the year to continue nurturing the home’s sense of connection and community.
