A Day Inspired by Mexico

At Belmore Lodge, the home took on a festive feel for Cinco de Mayo, with staff adding themed accessories and small touches throughout the day.

The morning was accompanied by music, conversation and a relaxed discussion about the origins of the date. Later, residents gathered for an armchair travel session, watching a documentary that explored the landscapes, traditions and everyday life of Mexico.

In the afternoon, a selection of Mexican-inspired refreshments was served, followed by a light-hearted game of piñata that brought plenty of movement, anticipation and shared laughter as sweets were collected.
