Baking at Belmore

Residents at Belmore Lodge took part in a cookery session focused on a much-requested savoury recipe: cheese straws.

Working together in the kitchen, residents measured, mixed and prepared the ingredients with care.

Elsie enjoyed being hands-on with combining the mixture, while Brenda demonstrated strong focus as she worked through the preparation. The session encouraged collaboration and steady participation from everyone involved.

Once baked, the cheese straws were shared and enjoyed by all, bringing a satisfying close to a practical and engaging activity.
