Blasts From The Past

After a recommendation from Neville and his daughter, we invited a speaker to join us at Belmore for the afternoon.

The talk was on the history of children’s TV and our guest speaker brought with him a lovely selection of puppets for us to look at. We had great fun reminiscing about our favourite TV programmes like Andy Pandy, Thunderbirds, and Bagpuss.

We had a lovely afternoon and we were able to make a donation to Honeypot House charity that John the speaker raises money for.
