Italian Day

To celebrate our ‘Italian Day’ our chef Andy helped us to make Pizzas in the morning, we then labelled them and he cooked them off for our residents to enjoy for their supper in the evening.

Andy had made the Pizza base fresh along with the tomato sauce base. He prepared some of the veg for us for the topping and then we were able to choose our favourite toppings to make the pizza with. Chris enjoyed helping Linda to make her topping and Neville was only too pleased to have Andy bring the pizza out to him at supper time for him to try what he had made.

In the afternoon we watched a documentary on Italy whilst drinking Italian wine and nibbles. Residents agreed that this was a day that should be repeated.
