Meeting Owls and Birds of Prey

We asked Colin – an owl and bird of prey demonstrator – to come into Belmore Lodge.

Colin brought in three owls for us to meet and a beautiful kestrel – pictured here with Doreen. They were all such lovely birds… and very well behaved, too!

Doreen loved seeing the kestrel up close. We were able to ask lots of questions too and found out a lot of information about the birds that we didn’t know.

It was a lovely afternoon.
