Return to the Water

We were fortunate to enjoy a beautiful boat trip around Brownsea Island today, thanks to the wonderful team at Solent Dolphin.

With clear skies and calm waters, it was the perfect day to be out on the sea.

One of the kind volunteers took time to guide us through the journey, pointing out landmarks and sharing stories about the surrounding islands — adding a personal touch to the voyage. For residents Ian and Brenda, both keen sailors in years past, it was especially meaningful to return to the water and feel the breeze again.

We rounded off the afternoon with traditional fish and chips, a fitting end to a truly special day on the coast.
