A Morning by the Harbour

When Tony shared his wish to visit Poole Harbour — a place filled with fond memories of visits with his wife, Pam — we were delighted to make it happen.

During the trip, Tony shared his impressive knowledge of the area’s rich history, including tales of 18th- and 19th-century smuggling that fascinated everyone.

After a few photos by the water, residents stopped at The Quay Café for ice cream. Jean declared her raspberry ripple “the best I’ve had in a long time,” while Linda enjoyed her mint choc chip and Tony gave a thumbs up for his rum and raisin.

It was a morning of fresh air, shared stories, and simple pleasures — a truly lovely outing.
