A Special Visit from Barney

There was a lot of warmth and wagging tails at Wellington Grange when Barney the therapy dog spent some one-to-one time with resident Terry.

Terry has always loved dogs and has even adopted retired assistance dogs in the past, so meeting Barney was something he really enjoyed.

The two quickly struck up an easy connection, with Terry enjoying a gentle fuss and sharing stories about the dogs that have been part of his life. Moments like this are incredibly meaningful, offering comfort, companionship and a chance to reminisce. It was lovely to see Terry so relaxed and happy in Barney’s company.
