A Sunny Outing to Haskins Garden Centre

Residents and staff enjoyed a relaxing day out at Haskins Garden Centre.

On a bright and sunny day, a group of our residents and staff set off for a trip to Haskins Garden Centre. The scenic journey made for a pleasant start to what turned out to be a truly enjoyable outing.

Upon arrival, everyone took a leisurely stroll through the garden centre before heading to the restaurant, where a delicious lunch awaited. Residents tucked into a variety of dishes including fish and chips, macaroni cheese, and toasted sandwiches, all accompanied by freshly brewed coffee and friendly conversation.

After lunch, there was plenty of time to explore the many displays of plants, clothing, and jewellery. Resident Mary particularly enjoyed browsing the books and soft teddies, while Sue was delighted by the sight of the newly displayed Christmas decorations — already bringing festive cheer in October!

It was a lovely afternoon spent together, filled with laughter, good food, and great company.
