Amesbury History Centre

The weather was bright and crisp – the perfect day for our minibus trip to Amesbury History Centre. 

Upon arrival, we visited the cafe for a cup of tea before moving upstairs to the displays. 

Resident Pam was particularly keen to see the RAF history of Boscombe Down, making frequent references to her and her late husband’s own experiences. 

She also loved trying on a ‘Robin Hood’ style hat and wielding a wooden sword in a mock battle with Driver, Martin
