Anchors Away!

Harold and Irene were delighted to be out on the water again this week, thanks to the very kind people at the Friends of Dolphin Charity who took us around Poole Harbour.

For Irene, who loved to sit on Poole Quay watching the boats go by, it was a chance to be out in a boat herself and experience the peace and tranquillity of watching the sea and seeing the islands and wildlife as we went past—we even spotted a seal, which was very special.

Harold reminisced about his previous boats and admired the yachts moored nearby. We all appreciated the fresh air and beauty of the scenery and found the morning really relaxing. The volunteers who ran the trip were extremely happy to help and answer questions, even bringing around drinks and biscuits. It really was a wonderful morning.
