Christmas Tree Festival

Residents from Fernhill visited St Aldhelm’s Church for the annual Christmas Tree Festival today.

The Festival is a community event where local groups, schools, and care homes decorate trees with creative themes. Rosemary commented on the church itself, saying, “Absolutely beautiful, lovely church.”

Residents enjoyed spotting trees from our sister care homes, Brook View and Canford Chase and , and were inspired to start planning our own tree for next year. Some trees displayed personal messages, and our group also added notes in memory of loved ones.

After refreshments and a small donation at the church, the outing continued with a minibus tour to see Christmas lights and decorations around Sandbanks, Ferndown, and Longham.
