Creating Christmas Baubles

At Abbotts Barton, residents embraced the festive spirit today with a creative session making their own Christmas baubles.

Using polystyrene balls, glittering ribbon, and metallic stickers, everyone crafted decorations to hang on the tree.

Some took a careful, symmetrical approach, while others preferred a more freeform style—but all the baubles shimmered beautifully. The activity was a lovely way to share creativity, chat together, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

Judy remarked, “I love how they catch the light, it really makes me smile,” reflecting the joy these simple yet sparkling creations brought to the group.
