Love is in the Air

After the huge success of our ‘Deck the Doors’ Christmas wreath, we decided to spread the love and make another in honour of Valentine’s. 

We covered our heart-shaped frame in straw and rosemary before adding moss, floral foam, and delicate jars. The final additions, of course, were beautiful red roses!  

We had a lot of laughs during the afternoon. Margery joked the rosemary was so fragrant it would scare off any potential princes, while Shirley insisted the roses should be in her hair to highlight her eyes for the gentlemen. 

As we put the final touches on our wreath, we were met with applause from the lounge, with Wilma declaring what a beautiful job we had done. 

Now, our heart wreath hangs gracefully at the main entrance, welcoming visitors — and maybe even a prince or two for our 102-year-old princess, Margery!
