Pumpkin Painting

A relaxed afternoon of pumpkin painting brought colour, imagination and a gentle sense of fun as residents prepared for the home’s seasonal celebrations.

With Halloween approaching, residents at Avon Cliff enjoyed a light-hearted “crafternoon” dedicated to decorating their own pumpkins ahead of the festivities. The session began with a friendly exchange of ideas, sparking inspiration for everything from mischievous ghouls to characterful witches — even a cheeky little mouse made an appearance in the plans.

Once designs were chosen, the room settled into a rhythm of quiet concentration and shared amusement as paintbrushes brought each character to life. The finished pumpkins were wonderfully varied: vibrant, expressive and delightfully spooky in all the right ways.

It was a simple, creative gathering that invited conversation, encouraged imagination and set the tone for the celebrations to come.
