Shortbread Delights

With a lot of keen bakers at Canford Chase, Anne and companion Justin provided a wonderful ‘show and tell’ baking session for other residents this week. 

Anne spoke of her love of baking; she used to enjoy trying new recipes and seeing the different ways a recipe could be adapted.  

Anne made some shaped shortbread which was enjoyed the next afternoon by residents in the lounge over a cup of tea. They were buttery and flaky with just the right sweetness.
