Silhouette
The team at Amberwood House love introducing new activities, and especially love a new challenge.
Justine introduced the home to an incredibly therapeutic challenge. She handed out a sheet of paper with a labelled diagram called a silhouette.
The aim of the game was to shade in every fragment that contained a dot and reveal the hidden image. As residents discussed how to tackle the challenge, it became clear that this was an exercise best done as a group. With freshly made hot chocolates in hand, each resident started working on a different section, eagerly anticipating the moment when the image would start to emerge.
It was great to see everyone chatting away and guessing what the image could be. And when they finally completed the challenge, they discovered a cricketer captured taking his winning shot.
It was great to try something different and exciting. What will the next new activity be?
