Spiced Apple Muffins

Lots of our residents joined us for Baking Club this week. 

As it’s now officially autumn, we thought it was time we baked some spiced apple muffins to get us ready for the darker, cosy nights.  

Everyone helped with peeling and dicing the apples and measuring out the spices and other ingredients. We all had a turn mixing the batter as it was quite thick. It smelt delicious; we all agreed we exhibited great self-control by not licking the mix off our fingers!  

Sheila Thompson said, “It was lovely to get a chance to join in with baking again,” as she hasn’t done it in some time and has always enjoyed it.
