Time to Talk Day

To celebrate Time to Talk Day, we created a dedicated space, where staff, family, friends, and relatives, could pull up a chair and chat over a cuppa, and a nice biscuit.  

We also encouraged residents to find time to talk to each other – however they felt comfortable. We did lovely garden walks, read the newspaper together, and chatted over lunch. 

Sandra and Janette chatted about the newspaper over a cuppa, and June visited staff for a catch up.  

Meanwhile, Kiki and Rosemary took advantage of the winter sunshine and walked and talked through the lovely frosty garden. They were both beaming when they came back in from the garden and determined they would make a habit of catching up in the garden.
